We're getting excited for this year's School-Based OT/PT Conference! We are also excited to announce that it was recently approved by the NDSBE on Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology! Speech Language Pathology Providers are able to attend and receive ALL 12 credits (this will include both SLPs and SLP/LAs)! What is the time commitment for a tutor? Reading Corps tutors have options when it comes to time commitments!   450 Hours/School Year        15 Hours/Week 675 Hours/School Year        20 Hours/Week 900 Hours/School Year       28 Hours/Week  Individual schedules may vary per each tutor and school, but tutors work consistent schedules M-F during school hours.
We've been talking a lot about Reading Corps, so today we're going to focus on another one of our excellent programs - Math Corps! MATH CORPS WORKS  In a randomized controlled trial, 4th - 8th grade students receiving Math Corps tutoring for 90 minutes each week were 2 - 3 months ahead of their expected trajectory!
If education was in the Olympics, we'd give gold medals to all of our dedicated educators who took time out of their summer breaks to join us at the first ND Science of Reading Literacy Summit two weeks ago! You inspired us with your insightful questions and palpable excitement for the work you do. Our statewide Coaching Specialist team traveled to Minneapolis last week for the Ampact Coaching Summit! Attendees discussed Reading and Math Corps program updates, research, and best practices. They also celebrated 20 years of Readings Corps! Here's to many more years of these great programs!

Program impacts. 372,745 students served and 73% of students served exceeded target growth (23-24, Ampact) for Americorps Reading Corps. 73,492 students served with 86% of students served improved math skills (23-24, Ampact) for Americorps Math Corps.
